En los tres meses en Gran Canaria estudié mucho y conocí a mucha gente nueva.
Encontré a muchos amigos nuevos y sé que puedo volver en cada momento y quedamos.
Descubrí mucho de la isla y vi muchos lugares especiales.
Quiero agradecer especialmente a Dani, Naila y Ariana, mis amigos mejores, a Marta, la mejor coordinadora del mundo y Ana, mi profe de clase favorita. Pero también a mis clases y la gente conocida.

In these three months in Gran Canaria I learned much and I got to know many new people.
I found many new friends and I know that I can return any time and we will meet.
I discovered much of the island and I saw many special places.
I want to say thanks especially to Dani, Naila and Ariana, my best friends, to Marta, the best coordinator in the world and to Ana, my favourite class teacher. But also to my classes of 3rd and 4th grade and known people.

In diesen drei Monaten habe ich viel gelernt und ich habe viele neue Leute getroffen.
Ich habe viele neue Freunde gefunden und ich weiß, dass ich jeden Moment zurückkehren kann und wir uns treffen werden.
Ich habe viel der Insel gesehen und viele besondere Orte der Insel kennen gelernt.
Ich möchte besonders Dani, Naila und Ariana, meinen besten Freunden, Marta, der besten Koordinatorin der Welt und Ana, meiner Lieblingsklassenlehrerin danken. Aber auch meinen Klassenkameraden und allen neuen Leuten.

El último día/ The last day/ Der letzte Tag
El último día tuvo dos fiestas de despididas para nosotras alemanes en el insti.
Una con Finja y Lisa en 4°A y una sola en 3°A. Comimos, bebimos, bailamos y cantamos mucho.
Recibí regalos de mis amigas de 4° y una camiseta grande con todos los nombres de mi clase de 3°.
Muchas gracias a todos!! Me gustaba mucho.
Por la noche me quedé con un amigo en el Centro Comercial de Las Arenas y tuvimos tiempo muy divertido.

Película y Playa/ Film and beach/ Film und Strand
El lunes Lisa, Finja y yo fuimos con el primer bachillerato a una excursión a ver la película histórica "Sufragista" en un cine local. La peli trata de un grupo de mujeres luchando por sus derechos y fue muy interesante pero también muy triste y por eso en unas parte lloramos.
Por la tarde fui con Lisa a La Playa de Las Canteras porque hacía buen tiempo y calor.
On Monday Lisa, Finja and I went with 1st secondary education on a trip watching the historical film "Suffragists" in a local cinema. It was about a group of women fighting for their rights and I liked it very much. The film was very interesting but also very sad so that at some parts we had to cry.
In the afternoon I went with Lisa to the Canteras beach because it was a very warm day with such a good weather.
Am Montag waren Lisa, Finja und ich auf einer Exkursion mit der Oberstufe. Wir sind ins lokale Kino gegangen, um den historischen Film "Suffragette" zu schauen, der von einer Gruppe Frauen handelt, die für ihre Rechte kämpfen. Der Film war sehr interessant, aber auch sehr traurig, weshalb uns an manchen Stellen sogar die Tränen gekommen sind.
Am Nachmittag bin ich dann mit Lisa noch an den Strand Las Canteras gegangen, weil es extrem gutes Wetter war.

Pico de las Nieves
El sábado fui con Lisa, Finja y sus padres acogidas al Pico de las Nieves, el monte más alto de la isla. Fue una vista impresionante a toda la isla, al Roque Nublo y Tenerife. Después almorzamos en un monte bocadillos y fuimos a un restaurante en el pueblo más alto de la isla para tomar un helado.
On Saturday I went with Lisa, Finja and her host parents to the Pico de las Nieves, the island´s hightest mountain. There we had an gorgeous view all over the island till the Roque Nublo and Tenerife. Then we had lunch on a mountain and after that we went to a restaurant and ate an ice cream.
Am Samstag bin ich mit Lisa, Finja und ihren Gasteltern zum höchsten Berg der Insel gefahren, der Pico de las Nieves. Dort hatten wir eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die ganze Insel und auf den Roque Nublo und man konnte sogar wieder Teneriffa sehen. Danach sind wir auf einen anderen Berg gestiegen und haben dort auf einer kleinen Wiese mitten in der Natur leckere belegte Brötchen gegessen. Zum Schluss sind wir noch zu einem kleinen Restaurant ins höchste bewohnte Dorf der Insel gefahren und haben dort noch ein Eis gegessen.

Vuelta y Pascua/ Return and Easter/ Rückreise und Ostern
El sábado volví a Gran Canaria.
Hoy es domingo y en Alemania celebran Pascua y por eso es raro por aquí porque nadie lo celebra.
Pero para toda la gente celebrando: Felices Pascuas!
On Saturday I returned to Grand Canary.
Today is Sunday and in Germany Easter is celebrated but here not, so it´s very strange for me.
But for all celebrating people: Happy Easter!
Am Samstag bin ich zurück nach Gran Canaria geflogen.
Heute ist Sonntag und in Deutschland wird Ostern gefeiert, jedoch hier nicht, was sehr komisch für mich ist.
Aber für alle, die heute feiern: Frohe Ostern!

Dromedarios y Paella/ Dromedaries and Paella/ Dromedare und Paella
El viernes fui con Ana al parque nacional de Timanfaya otra vez. Pero para montar a dromedarios! Cómo estuvimos muy temprano por la manana pudimos montar a un dromedario solas! Fue muy impresionante y especial y me gustó mucho. Después fuimos al museo de visitantes que es como un museo de volcanes de fue muy bonito y interesante. Cómo es gratuito tienes que visitarlo también!
Por la tarde visité con Ana, su prima, Mahi y Gara a la familia del hermano de Ana que tiene una casa en Faro de Pechiguera, Playa Blanca que es parte del municipio Yaiza. Comí mi primera paella y fue muy muy rica! Además nadamos en la piscina y dimos una vuelta pequena.
On Friday I went again with Ana to the Timanfaya national park. But this time for riding a dromedary! Because we were so early we had the chance to have a tour with only one dromedary and the guide! This was so cool and special and I just enjoyed! Then we went to the visitors centre which is like an volcanoe museum and it was very interesting. Because it´s gratis you really have to visit it too!
In the afternoon I visited with Ana, her cousin, Mahi and Gara Anas brother´s family in Faro de Pechiguera, Playa Blanca which is part of the bourough Yaiza. I ate my first paella and it was so delicious! Furthermore we went swimming in the pool and went for a small walk.
Freitag war ich wieder mit Ana im Nationalpark Timanfaya, aber dieses Mal um Dromedare zu reiten! Da wir so früh waren, hatten wir sogar die Möglichkeit, mit einem eigenen Führer und nur unserem Dromedar die Strecke zu durchlaufen. Es war so cool und ich habe es einfach nur genossen! Danach sind wir ins Besucherzentrum des Nationalparks gefahren, das wie ein Vulkanmuseum ist. Es ist sehr schön und interessant und da es gratis ist, ist es auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
Am Nachmittag bin ich dann mit Ana, ihrer Cousine, Mahi und Gara zu Anas Bruder gefahren, um seine Familie zu besuchen, die ein Haus in Faro de Pechiguera, Playa Blanca haben, das zum Bezirk Yaiza gehört. Dort habe ich meine erste Paella gegessen und es war superlecker! Außerdem sind wir noch im Pool schwimmen gegangen und haben einen kleinen Spaziergang gemacht.

Jameos del Agua y Mirador del Río/ Jameos del Agua and Mirador del Río/ Jameos del Agua und Mirador del Río
El jueves fui con Ana, su prima, Gara y Mahi a los Jameos del Agua que es como una cueva sin techo. Además había un restaurante, un auditorio, un museo y una tienda de recueros y me los gustaron mucho. En el lago pequeno en la cueva viven cangrejos blancos y pequenos que solo existen ahí.
Después fuimos al Mirador del Río que está cerca de la isla pequena La Gracios que es parte de Lanzarote. Pensaba que está isla muy lejos y por eso estuve muy sorprendida cuando la miré desde la plataforma. El Mirador del Río es como un nombre bromita porque no existe un río. El mar entre La Graciosa y Lanzarote solo parece a un río y por eso tiene ese nombre. Ese excursión me gustó mucho.
On Thursday I went with Ana, her cousin, Gara and Mahi to the Jameos del Agua which is like a cave without a roof. Furthermore there was a restaurant, an auditorium, a museum and a souvenir shop and I liked them very much. In the little lake in the cave live little white crayfish only existing there.
Then we went to the Mirador del Río which is near to the little island La Graciosa which is part of Lanzarote. I thought that this island was so far away from Lanzarote but when I stood at the Mirador del Río´s platform I saw the near La Graciosa and I was so surprised! Then I realised that the attraction was the water between the two island which seems like a river but is the ocean, so it´s a joke. I liked it very much!
Am Donnerstag besuchte ich mit Ana, ihrer Cousine, Gara und Mahi die Jameos del Agua. Diese ist wie eine Höhle ohne Decke, in der sich aber auch ein kleiner See befindet, in der kleine weiße Krebse leben, die nur dort vorzufinden sind. Außerdem gibt es dort ein Restaurant, einen Konzertsaal bzw.-höhle, ein Museum und einen Souvenirladen, was ich sehr cool finde.
Danach sind wir zum Mirador del Río gefahren, der sich ganz in der Nähe der kleinen Insel La Graciosa befindet, die aber trotzdem noch zu Lanzarote gehört. Von Famara aus dachte ich immer, dass diese kleine Insel unglaublich weit weg wäre, doch als ich dann auf der Aussichtsplattform stand, sah ich, dass La Graciosa auf einmal doch so nah war. Für mich total unglaublich und überraschend! Außerdem habe ich dann erst verstanden, dass man von diesem Punkt aus gar keinen Fluss beobachten kann, wie es der Name dieser Sehenswürdigkeit verspricht. Es geht dabei um den Strom zwischen den zwei Inseln, der sehr stark an einen Fluss erinnert, aber an beiden Enden ins offene Meer mündet und somit Teil des Ozeans ist. Dieses Ziel gefiel mir auch sehr!

El miércoles fui con Ana, Mahi y Alejandro al parque nacional de Timanfaya o Montanas del Fuego.
Dimos una vuelta en una guagua por el parque y fue muy impresionante.
Nunca he visto un paisaje como ese de todos estas rocas vulcanizadas.
Cuando estés en Lanzarote iendo por ahí es necesario.
On Wednesday I visited with Ana, Mahi and Alejandro the Timanfaya national park or also called Fire Mountains. We went on a bus tour through the park and the landscape was just so impressive!
I´ve never seen any like this! Kilometres and kilometres just volcanic rocks.
So, if you ever visit Lanzarote, you´ll go definitely to this national park!

Tanguise
El martes fui con Ana a un paseo al lado del mar. Me mostró un lugar muy bonito para banarse y sí, lo hicimos. Hizo mucho frío pero fue bien. Pero cómo las olas estuvieron muy grande tuvimos que bajar pronto que fue muy triste.
Por la tarde fui con Ana y su prima a Tanguise y compré unos recuerdos.
On Tuesday I went for a walk with Ana next to the ocean. She showed me a beautiful place to go swimming and yes, we did. The water was very cold but it was fine. But the problem was that the waves were so huge that it was very dangerous and so we had to go out.
In the afternoon I went with Ana and her cousin to Tanguise for buying some souvenirs.
Am Dienstag habe ich mit Ana einen Spaziergang entlang des Meers gemacht. Sie hat mir eine kleine "Bucht" gezeigt, in der man gut baden konnte und ja, wir haben es gemacht. Das Wasser war relativ kalt, aber das hat mir nicht viel ausgemacht. Das einzige Problem war nur, dass die Wellen zu dem Zeitpunkt so hoch waren, dass sie für uns im Wasser eine Gefahr darstellten und somit mussten wir leider schnell wieder rausgehen.
Am Nachmittag bin ich mit Ana und ihrer Cousine in einen nahen Ort namens Tanguise gefahren, um ein paar Souvenirs zu kaufen.

Cueva de los Verdes
El lunes fui con Ana, Mahi y Gara (los hijos de la prima de Ana) y Alejandro (un amigo de Mahi) a la Cueva de los Verdes que es un sistema de cuevas que nació de lava.
Fue muy gracioso y especial y por eso gustó mucho.
On Monday I went with Ana, Mahi and Gara (Anas cousin´s children) and Alejandro (Mahis friend) to the Cueva de los Verdes which is a cave system made by a lava flow.
It was very impressive and special and so I liked it very much.
Am Montag war ich mit Ana, Mahi und Gara (die Kinder von Anas Cosuine) und Alejandro (ein Kumpel von Mahi) in der Cueva de los Verdes, welches ein Höhlensystem ist, das aus einem früheren Lavafluss entstanden ist.
Es war sehr beeindruckend und schön und daher mochte ich es sehr.
Fue muy gracioso y especial y por eso gustó mucho.

El sábado fui con Sergio, Andrea, Lisa y Finja al Palmitos Park en Maspalomas.
Es un parque natural en los montes con muchos animales y también unos que nunca he visto como un cálao o un marabú. Visitamos a la show de los delfines, de los exóticas y rapaces y a la de los pájaros. Las primer dos me gustaron mucho pero la tercera show nada porque los pájaros parecieron de estar malos aunque ya lo sé que los otros animales no están mejores.
Después almorzamos bocadillos ricos y fuimos a la Playa del Inglés dónde Lisa y yo nadamos.
Fue un día gracioso y interesante.
On Saturday I went with Sergio, Andrea, Lisa and Finja to Palmitos Park in Maspalomas.
It´s a natural park in the mountains with many animals and also some I´ve never seen in my life like hornbills and marabous. We visited the dolphin show, the birds of prey show and the parrot show and the first two I liked very much but the last one not because the parrots didn´t seem that good (but I know that any animals in the zoo are good).
Then we had lunch and ate delicious breads and then we went to the beach Playa del Inglés and Lisa and I even went swimming.
It was an special and interesting day.

Mir gefielen die ersten zwei sehr, aber die letzte nicht wirklich, da die Vögel sehr krank aussahen (aber ich weiß, dass es keinem Tier im Zoo gut geht).
Dann haben wir zum Mittag leckere belegte Brötchen gegessen und danach sind wir noch zum Strand in Playa del Inglés gefahren. Lisa und ich sind sogar noch schwimmen gegangen!
Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner und interessanter Tag und ich habe ihn sehr genossen.

Una tarde en la Playa de las Canteras/ A afternoon at Las Canteras beach/ Ein Nachmittag am Strand Las Canteras
El jueves por la tarde fui con Lisa y Finja a la Playa de las Canteras que está cerca de mi casa.
Aunque fue invierno ese día hizo calor . Por eso nadamos en las olas grandes y sacamos fotos.
Tuvimos muchos ganas y fue muy bien.
On Thursday in the afternoon I went with Lisa and Finja to the beach Las Canteras which is near to my flat. Although it was winter, this day it was warm and so we went swimming in the big waves and we took some photos. We had much fun and it was very nice.
Am Donnerstagnachmittag war ich mit Lisa und Finja am Strand Las Canteras, der nah an meiner Wohnung ist. Obwohl Winter war , hatten wir an dem Tag gutes Wetter und so sind wir auch in den großen Wellen schwimmen gegangen und haben Bilder gemacht. Wir hatten an diesem Nachmittag viel Spaß zusammen und es war wirklich schön.

Mi 15°cumpleano/ My 15th birthday/ Mein 15.Geburstag
El martes cumplí mi 15° cumpleano y aunque estuve sin mi familia y mis amigos alemanas, tuve un día bueno y especial.
Mis amigos de 3°A, 4°A y del 1° Bachillerato me cantaron muchas canciones del cumpleano en espanol, inglés y alemán y eso fue muy guay! Recibí regalos de Lisa y Finja, mis amigas de 4°A y mi familia del intercambio pero también de mi familia alemana. Estuve por la tarde con Lisa y Finja y estuve muy feliz. Eché de menos a mi familia alemana pero vamos a celebrar otra vez cuando vuelvo en abril.
Muchas gracias a mis amigos y a mi familia para tener un cumple tan bonito!
On Tuesday was my 15th birthday and altough I wasn´t with my German family and friends I had an awesome day.
My friends from 3rd and 4th grade and 1st secondary education sang birthday songs in Spanish, English and German and this was so great! I got presents from Lisa and Finja, my friends from 4th grade and my host parents but also from my German family. In the evening I was with Lisa and Finja and I was very happy. I missed my German family a lot but we are going to celebrate again when I come back in April.
Thanks to all my friends and my family for having that great birthday!
Am Dienstag feierte ich meinen 15. Geburtstag und obwohl ich den Tag ohne meine deutsche Familie und Freunde verbrachte, hatte ich einen schönen Tag.
Meine Freunde aus der 3. und 4. Klasse und der 1.Oberstufe sangen mir nicht nur einmal ein Geburstagslied und diese sogar auch noch auf Spanisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Ich bekam Geschenke von Lisa und Finja, meinen Freundinnen aus der 4.Klasse und meiner Gastfamilie, aber auch von meiner deutschen Familie. Am Nachmittag kamen Lisa und Finja mit zu mir und wir haben den restlichen Tag miteinander verbracht. Ich habe meine Familie sehr vermisst, aber wir werden, wenn ich wieder da bin, nachfeiern und darauf freue ich mich schon so sehr!
Vielen Dank an all meine Freunde und meine Familie, dass ich so einen schönen Geburstag hatte!

Excursiones con los franceses/ Trips with the French guys/ Ausflüge mit den französischen Gastschülern
El lunes y el miércoles Finja, Lisa y yo estuvimos en excursiones con chicos espanoles y franceses. Los estudiantes de Francia estuven en Las Gran Canaria para una semana por un intercambio.
El lunes estuvimos en un plaza cerca del mar en Las Canteras. Hablamos y jugamos juntos.
El miércoles fuimos a dos lugares en los montanas, Arucas y Teror. Primer fuimos a Arucas y visitamos a una fábrica de ron que se llama Arehucas. Vimos partes de la producción pero no fue muy interesante. Después fuimos a la gran iglesia de Arucas y a un parque en que ya estuve con Lisa y Ana. Al final fuimos a Teror a una otra iglesia y un bosque y eso me gustó mucho aunque solo había 8°C.
Todo en todo estos dos excursiones fueron muy impresionante y me gustaron mucho.

On Monday and Wednesday Finja, Lisa and I were on school trips with Spanish and French guys. The French students were at Grand Canary for one week because of an exchange programme.
On Monday we went to a place near the ocean in Las Canteras. We talked and played games together.
On Wednesday we went to two cities in the mountains, Arucas and Teror. In Arucas we visited a rum company called Arehucas and saw parts of how they produce it. Then we went to the big church and a park but because I had already known the last two sights in Arucas and the rum company wasn´t that interesting, I didn´t like it very much. But in the end we went to Teror and there we visited another church and a little wood and this was very beautful altough there were only 8°C.
All in all I would say that this two trips were great experiences and that I had much fun.

Montag und Mittwoch waren Finja, Lisa und ich auf Ausflügen mit Spaniern und Franzosen. Die französischen Gastschüler waren hier aufgrund eines einwöchigen Austauschs.
Am Montag waren wir auf einem Platz am Meer in Las Canteras und haben viel geredet und gespielt.
Mittwoch fuhren wir zu zwei Orten in den Bergen, Arucas und Teror. In Arucas besichtigten wir eine Rumfabrik namens Arehucas, in der wir Einblicke in die Produktion bekommen konnten, jedoch war dieser Besuch für mich leider ziemlich uninteressant. Danach gingen wir zur Kirche und zu einem Park, aber da ich dort schon bereits mit Ana und Lisa gewesen war, war auch dies leider langweilig. Dann sind wir jedoch noch nach Teror gefahren, haben eine andere Kirche besichtigt und sind in einem Wald wandern gegangen und das hat mir wirklich viel Spaß gemacht, auch wenn es nur 8°C waren.
Alles in allem würde ich sagen, dass ich auf diesen zwei Ausflügen viele neue Erfahrunge gesammelt habe und sehr viel Spaß hatte.
Vielen Dank an meine neuen spanischen Freunde aus der Oberstufe, dass sie so freundlich waren und uns so gut aufgenommen haben!

Excursión y airsoft/ School trip and airsoft/ Schulausflug und Airsoft
El miércoles pasado Finja cumplió 15 anos. Fuimos con nuestra clase a un museo de arte pero fue un poco aburrido porque a mí no me gusta mucho el arte. Después del insti celebré con Lisa y Finja su cumpleano y montamos. Fue un día especial y ojalá que a Finja le gustó.
El sábado primer fui con Sergio, Andrea, Lisa y Finja al sur a una playa en Mogán y nadamos. Hacía calor y buen tiempo. Después fuimos al Hangar37 en Las Palmas para jugar al airsoft. Fue una experiencia especial pero no quiero jugarlo otra vez.
Last Wednesday was Finja´s 15th birthday. In school we went on a trip to an art museum but it was boring because I´m not an art fan. After school we celebrated Finja´s birthday and rode horses. It was a special day and I hope that Finja was satisfied.
On Saturday I went with Sergio, Andrea, Lisa and Finja to the South to a beach in Mogán. Because it was good weather we went swimming. Then we went to the Hangar37 in Las Palmas to play Airsoft. It was a special experience but I don´t want to play it again.
Letzten Mittwoch war Finjas 15.Geburtstag, An diesem Tag waren wir mit ein paar Leuten aus der Oberstufe auf einer Exkursion in einem Kunstmuseum. Wir haben uns eine Ausstellung angeguckt, aber ich fand es sehr langweilig. Nach der Schule haben wir Finjas Geburtstag gefeiert und wir waren am späten Nachmittag noch reiten.
Am Samstag bin ich mit Sergio, Andrea, Lisa und Finja in den Süden an einen Strand in Mogán gefahren. Da gutes Wetter war, gingen wir auch schwimmen. Danach sind wir zum Hangar37 nach Las Palmas gefahren, um Airsoft zu spielen. Meiner Meinung nach ist es definitiv eine Erfahrung wert, aber ich muss es nicht noch einmal spielen.

Un fin de semana con Lisa y Finja/ A weekend with Lisa and Finja/ Ein Wochenende mit Lisa und Finja
El viernes fui después del colegio a la casa de Finja y quedamos con Lisa. Estaba divertido aunque hacemos nada. Después fui con mi padre del intercambio por la noche a la casa de sus padres que está en Moya, un pueblo pequeno en las montanas y dormimos por ahí. Sus padres son muy amables y me pasaba bien.
El sábado volvemos por la manana y por la tarde fueron Lisa y Finja a mi casa. Dormimos por la noche por aquí y hoy nos he levantado tarde. Queríamos ir a un mercado que hay cerca de mi casa al lado de la playa, pero hoy no ha estado porque ha llovido y ha habido viento. Hemos almorzado en Pepe Chiringo que es como McDonald´s y me ha gustado mucho.
On Friday I went after school with Lisa to Finja´s. We had much fun although we did nothing. Then I went with my host father to his parents that are living in a small village in the mountains called Moya. We stayed for the night and I felt well because his parents were very friendly.
On Saturday we went back home in the morning and in the evening Lisa and Finja arrived at my home to stay for the night. Today we woke up lately and then we went to the beach. There we wanted to visit a little market but because of the wind and rain there wasn´t any. At mid-day we had lunch at Pepe Chiringo which is similiar to McDonald´s and it was delicious.
Am Freitag habe ich mich nach der Schule mit Finja und Lisa bei Finja Zuhause getroffen und obwohl wir nichts gemacht haben, hatten wir viel Spaß. Am Abend bin ich mit meinem Gastvater zu seinen Eltern gefahren, die in einem kleinen Dorf in den Bergen namens Moya wohnen. Dort haben wir übernachtet und seine Eltern waren sehr freundlich.
Samstag sind wir morgens wieder nach Hause gefahren und dann sind Lisa und Finja am Nachmittag zu mir gekommen. Sie haben die Nacht bei mir verbracht und es war wirklich cool.
Heute sind wir dann relativ spät aufgestanden und danach sind wir zum Strand gelaufen, da wir zum Strandpromenadenmarkt wollten. Dieser war dort jedoch nicht, was glaube ich am Regen und Wind lag. Zum Mittagessen sind wir zu Pepe Chiringo gefahren, der McDonald´s ähnelt und es war sehr lecker.

Queríamos ir a un mercado que hay cerca de mi casa al lado de la playa, pero hoy no ha estado porque ha llovido y ha habido viento. Hemos almorzado en Pepe Chiringo que es como McDonald´s y me ha gustado mucho.
On Friday I went after school with Lisa to Finja´s. We had much fun although we did nothing. Then I went with my host father to his parents that are living in a small village in the mountains called Moya. We stayed for the night and I felt well because his parents were very friendly.
On Saturday we went back home in the morning and in the evening Lisa and Finja arrived at my home to stay for the night. Today we woke up lately and then we went to the beach. There we wanted to visit a little market but because of the wind and rain there wasn´t any. At mid-day we had lunch at Pepe Chiringo which is similiar to McDonald´s and it was delicious.
Am Freitag habe ich mich nach der Schule mit Finja und Lisa bei Finja Zuhause getroffen und obwohl wir nichts gemacht haben, hatten wir viel Spaß. Am Abend bin ich mit meinem Gastvater zu seinen Eltern gefahren, die in einem kleinen Dorf in den Bergen namens Moya wohnen. Dort haben wir übernachtet und seine Eltern waren sehr freundlich.
Samstag sind wir morgens wieder nach Hause gefahren und dann sind Lisa und Finja am Nachmittag zu mir gekommen. Sie haben die Nacht bei mir verbracht und es war wirklich cool.
Heute sind wir dann relativ spät aufgestanden und danach sind wir zum Strand gelaufen, da wir zum Strandpromenadenmarkt wollten. Dieser war dort jedoch nicht, was glaube ich am Regen und Wind lag. Zum Mittagessen sind wir zu Pepe Chiringo gefahren, der McDonald´s ähnelt und es war sehr lecker.

Carnaval y museos/Carnival and museums/ Karneval und Museen
El sábado pasado fui otra vez a los scouts. Pero era un encuentro especial porque todos estaban disfrazados y yo también. Estaba un poco raro para mí porque no me gusta mucho estar disfrazada. Después fui con Finja, Lisa y las chicas del insti al carnaval.. Fue una buena experiencia de estar por ahí pero como no conocemos a la música espanola y a la gente estabamos un poco mal.
El domingo estuve todo el día con Finja y Lisa. Fuimos con los padres acogidos de Finja a dos museos: El Museo Canario y el museo Casa de Colón. Fui muy interesante y me gustó mucho. Después estuvimos en un mercado pequeno en Vegueta, un barrio de Las Palmas.
Hoy hemos estado en una excursión con nuestros clases al Gobierno de Canarias, un edificio oficial, porque hoy es el Día de las Letras. Ahí hemos escuchando a hombres y a mujeres que hablaron de poesía canaria y ha estado un poco aburrido porque no he entendido mucho.
Last Saturday I was again at Scout´s. But it was a special meeting because everybody was wearing a costume and me too. But I don´t like wearing a suit and so I wasn´t that feeling good. Then I went with Finja, Lisa and girls from school to the carnival. Being there was a great experience but I had prefered being with my german friends and English or German music because we were a bit lost in the Canarian culture.
On Sunday I was the whole day with Finja and Lisa. We visited with Finjas host parents two museums: The Canrian House and Columbus´ house. It was every interesting and I liked it very much. After that we went to a little market in Vegueta, a district of Las Palmas.
Today we´ve been on a trip with our classes to the Gobierno de Canarias, an official building because today´s the Canarian Day of the Letters. People have been talking about Canarian poems and it was bit boring because I haven´t understood that much.
Letzten Samstag war ich wieder bei den Pfadfindern. Alle waren aufgrund des Karnevals verkleidet und ich auch, aber ich habe mich mit der Verkleidung nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt. Danach bin ich mit Finja, Lisa und Freundinnen aus der Schule zum Karnevalsumzug gegangen. Ich bin froh, diese Erfahrung gemacht haben zu dürfen, denn es ist ein farbenfrohes und fröhliches Ereignis. Aber wir haben englische oder deutsche Musik (da wir die spanischen Lieder nicht kannten) und unsere Freunde zum Partymachen schon sehr vermisst.
Sonntag habe ich den ganzen Tag mit Finja und Lisa verbracht. Wir haben mit Finjas Gasteltern zwei Museen besichtigt: Das kanarische Haus und das Kolumbushaus. Es war sehr interessant und hat mir gut gefallen. Danach sind wir über einen kleinen Markt in Vegueta, einem Stadtteil von Las Palmas, gegangen.
Heute waren wir auf einem Klassenausflug zum Gobierno de Canarias, einem offiziellem Gebäude, da heute der kanarische Tag der Literatur war. Wir haben Leuten zugehört, die Reden zum Thema Poesie gehalten haben, aber es war sehr langweilig, da ich kaum etwas verstanden habe.

Barranco de Los Cernícalos
Hoy es último día de las vacaciones.
El viernes estuve todo el día con Lisa. Fui con ella, Sergio y Andrea otra vez a la hamburguesería y almorzamos. Después fuimos a una montana pequena y vimos al barrio Triana de Las Palmas. Por la tarde Lisa estaba montando y le miré.
Ayer por la manana estuve en el encuentro de los scouts y estaba muy bien. Después fui al Barranco de Los Cernícalos con Lisa y mis padres del intercambio. A mí me gustaba el camino mucho pero solo podríamos ver a plantas y agua y eso estaba mal.
Hoy he estado todo el día en la casa de Lisa otra vez. Por la tarde fuimos con Sergio en bici por la Avenida Marítima al puerto. Estaba bien pero fuimos muy rápidamente y eso a mí no me gusta nada.
Today was the last day of the holidays.
On Friday I was the whole day with Lisa. I went again with her, Sergio and Andrea eating in the burger restaurant and then we went to a little mountain and had a view over Triana, a district of Las Palmas. In the evening Lisa went riding and I was watching her.
Yesterday in the morning I was at the meeting of the scouts and it was again very funny. Then I went to the Barranco de Los Cernícalos with Lisa and my host parents. I liked it very much but we saw the whole time only plants and water and this wasn´t nice.
Today I was again at Lisa´s. In the evening we rode our bikes with Sergio on the Avenida Marítima to the harbour. It was funny but we went very fast and I didn´t like that.
Heute war der letzte Tag der Ferien.
Freitag war ich den ganzen Tag bei Lisa und wir sind wieder mit Sergio und Andrea in dem Burgerladen Essen gegangen. Danach sind wir auf einen kleinen Berg geklettert und konnten auf ganz Triana, einen Stadteil von Las Palmas, gucken. Am Nachmittag ist Lisa geritten und ich habe ihr zugeguckt.
Gestern morgen war ich wieder beim Treffen der Pfadfinder und es hat sehr Spaß gemacht. Danach bin ich mit Lisa und meinen Gasteltern zum Barranco de Los Cernícalos gefahren und es hat mir sehr gefallen. Jedoch haben wir die ganze Zeit nur Pflanzen und Wasser gesehen und das war langweilig.
Heute habe ich den Tag wieder bei Lisa verbracht. Am Nachmittag haben wir mit Sergio eine Radtour entlang der Avenida Marítima zum Hafen gemacht. Es war sehr schön, aber da wir sehr schnell gefahren sind, war es sehr anstrengend.

Vacaciones del Carnaval/ Carnival holidays/ Karnevalsferien
Ahora tenemos una semana libre por el carnaval y lo disfruto.
El sábado fui a un encuentro de los scouts. Estabamos jugando juegos y estaban muy amable y por eso quiero participar en los scouts los últimos dos meses. Despúes fui con mis padres del intercambio a un restaurante indio pero la comida no estaba tan interesante o rica y por eso no quiero comerlo otra vez.
El domingo fuimos a la isleta que está cerca y caminamos mucho a lado del mar.
El lunes empezaron oficialmente las vacaciones y fui con Lisa y Ana, mi madre del intercambio a Agaete a la playa. En el camino estabamos en Arucas. Vimos a la iglesia y comemos en un restaurante. Comí un bocadillo de tortilla pero estaba frío y por eso no me gustaba mucho.
Después seguimos iendo a Agaete y cuando habíamos llegamos fuimos a la playa. Nadamos y quería ir a las piscinas en el mar y por eso fuimos por ahí también. A mí me gusta el mar mucho pero está mucho sal en el mar atlántico y por eso prefiero el mar báltico que está en Alemania.
El martes fui con mis padres y la familia de Lisa al monte Roque Nublo que está cerca de la montana Pico de Las Nieves que es la montana más alta de toda Gran Canaria. La vista estaba muy bien porque no había muchas nubes y por eso podríamos ver Tenerife. Después fuimos a un restaurante en que la comida estaba muy rica. A mí me gustan mucho las papas arrugadas con mojo.
Now we have one week holidays because of the carnival and I´m enjoying it.
On Saturday I went to a meeting of the scouts. We were playing games and they were very friendly and because of that I want to participate in the scouts the last two months. After that I went with my parents to an Indian restaurant but the food wasn´t that interesting or delicious and because of that I don´t want to eat that again.
On Sunday we went to la isleta which is near and we were just going next to the ocean a few hours.
On Monday began officially the holidays and I went with Lisa and Ana, my host mother to the beach of Agaete. On the way we stopped at Arucas. We visited the church and ate in a restaurant. I ate a bread with tortilla but it was cold and so it wasn´t very delicious. Then we went on going to Agaete and when we had arrived we went to the beach. We went swimming and then I wanted to go to swimming pools which are situated in the ocean and so we went there. I like the ocean very much but there´s so much salt in the Atlantic Ocean and because of that I prefer the Baltic Sea which is near to Germany.
On Tuesday I went with my and Lisas host family to the mountain Roque Nublo which is situated near to the Pico de Las Nieves which is the highest mountain of Grand Canary. The view was very good because there weren´t many clouds and so we could see Tenerife. Then we went to a restaurant where the food was very delicious. I like the boiled potatoes with mojo, canary sauce most.
Jetzt haben wir eine Woche aufgrund des Kanevals frei und ich genieße es.
Samstag ging ich zu einem Treffen der Pfadfinder. Wir haben Spiele gespielt und sie waren sehr freundlich und deswegen möchte ich in den letzten zwei Monaten bei den Pfadfindern mitmachen. Danach sind wir indisch Essen gegangen, aber das Essen war nicht wirklich interessant oder lecker und deswegen möchte ich da nicht noch einmal Essen gehen.
Sonntag sind wir zu einem nahen Inselabschnitt gefahren, der la isleta heißt und sind dort ein paar Stunden direkt neben dem Meer spazieren gegangen.
Montag haben die Ferien offiziell begonnen und ich bin mit Lisa und Ana, meiner Gastmutter, an den Strand nach Agaete gefahren. Auf dem Weg dorthin haben wir in dem Ort Arucas Halt gemacht. Wir haben die Kirche besichtigt und sind in einem Restaurant Essen gegangen. Ich hatte ein Brötchen mit Tortilla, jedoch war diese kalt und daher nicht wirklich lecker. Dann haben wir unsere Fahrt nach Agaete fortgesetzt und als wir ankamen, sind wir zum Strand gegangen. Wir schwommen und dann wollte ich zu Schwimmbädern, die im Meer sind platziert sind und so gingen wir auch dorthin.
Dienstag bin ich mit meiner und Lisas Gastfamilie zum Berg Roque Nublo gefahren, der in der Nähe des Pico de Las Nieves ist, der der höchste Berg Gran Canarias ist. Die Sicht war sehr gut, weil nicht viele Wolken am Himmel waren und daher konnten wir auch Teneriffa sehen. Danach sind wir zu einem Restaurant gefahren, wo das Essen sehr lecker war. Am liebsten esse ich hier Salzkartoffeln mit Mojo, kanarischer Sauce.
